Matchboxology has been working with the South African National AIDS Council (SANAC), the Dept of Health and the office of the President to make World AIDS DAY 2009 the launch of a massive new naitonal commitment to HIV treatment and prevention.

The Matchboxology communications strategy of "defeating  HIV the same way it is attacking us--one person at a time" was embraced by SANAC and the Minister of Health,  The  campaign was built around a call for each South African to take personal responsibility for their actions and health when it comes to HIV :  "I am responsibel","We are responsible"  and "South Africa is responsible". MB also supplied the campaign's visual look and feel and logo.

On Wednesday 25th November, Matchboxology was in President Zuma's offices in Pretoris filming his  "candid conversation" with the nation --to be broadcast lduring prime time on 1 December.  Teaser ads encouraging the nation to view the broadcast were created by Matchboxology His landmark speech today at the South African World AIDS Day  featured sections scripted by Matchboxology.  (Read More)
